Ballyseede Vs Dunloe Hotel

    Myself and my fiance are in the process of picking our venue for our wedding in 2012. We have narrowed it down to either ballyseede Castle and Dunloe Hotel.

    2 totally different venues but fab in their own right.

    Has anyone been to a wedding or had their wedding in either? We are totally stuck, maybe a few reviews would help sway us one way!

    Haven't been to a wedding in either but have dealt with both and heard lots of reviews, and the Dunloe would get my vote. Gorgeous location, fab room for the wedding, excellent service.

    I have been to weddings in both and they are my favourite wedding venues!

    Ballyseede is amazing, food was gorgeous,service was excellent the huge big irish wolf hound was lovely.
    Only downside is there were not a lot of rooms so people had to stay elsewhere.

    Dunloe is my favourite hotel for a wedding,I do love horses though:) service and food were amazing.
    It was lovely sitting out on the terrace in the evening having drinks.

    It depends if you want the country house or hotel, if money was no object I would choose Dunloe.
