She listens to Van Halen and AC/DC on her MP3 while out running. I would have never thought of her been into that music.

Sure she's use to dropping from helicopters, chasing unarmed deer and blowing their heads off. GI Jane eat you bleedin' heart out.

Sarah Palin has an interesting physiological advantage in terms of oxygen usage. There is no oxygen diverted to the brain during exercise or otherwise.

    Good time.

Did my 1st and only Half this time last year, 1.56.

I hope the next one is a good bit quicker whenever I get around to doing one. I doubt there is many winter halfs, I will have to wait till next year.

Waterford half on the 10th of December, Fast flat course is one option

Cant really call waterford a flat course if last jan is anything to go by.
There is also Clonakilty in Dec though this has a few hard hills

Mmm, a bit lumpy in the middle there for flat track bullies. Not exactly Conn, Achill or Dingle though.

Having just done Dingle, it is definitely not like Dingle ! However for anyone chasing a PB, there are a couple of small hills which can ne punishing - or at least that is my memory from last Jan - they came as a little surprise to me. Of course it wasnt a particularily nice day wetherwise so that might be colouring my memory of it.

I think the rain coming in horizontally and gale force winds coloured everyone's memory of it!

There was a hill or two in Waterford alright. Still a fast course in comparison to any other half I've done in Ireland.
