Has anyone received a fee demand yet? The woman in the fees office told me to wait until i got one to pay the fees because epay still says I owe 2085 euro when I actually get the 2000 registration fee paid for me?

Don't want them chasing me up saying I owe them money, I sent the form and everything to say I got it paid but that was like nearly 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing =/

There was a thread on this last week. Are you a grant holder? If so you would have gotten a form stating where your grant should be coming from. You can then just pay the €85 and when you're registering you'll be asked to confirm your grant payment information.

Oh okay, so I just go in and pay the €85 euro? I wasn't sure if it was different for me because i'm from the North but then I guess there's no reason why it should be :)

Yup. I suspect changes are only amended on epay on a annual basis so next year your giro will only ask for €85

Were we not supposed to get giro forms sent out to us to pay the €85?

You'll get a giro this week in the post that will (probably) be for €2085 when you register they'll just confirm who should be giving your grant. You just pay €85.

I think I'll pay the €2000 tomorrow, just in case I don't get the grant. I would get the €2000 reimbursed should I get the grant?

you should have recieved a form to fill in if you have applied for a grant and ya just sent it off to the treasurer's office in tcd to cover your fees. Ring them up! i was in the same situation, and i rang them up and they were very friendly and helpful

I rang up and they said that if/when you get rejected for the grant to contact the treasurer's office immediately.

What do you do if you didn't apply for a grant though
like when is the fee due for those not eligible for the grant ?

I think it's something like 3 working days before the day in freshers week when you register

I did that. I'll still pay the €2000 though, just in case. When will we be contacted whether or not we get the grant?
