    From Wrestlezone
    TMZ.com is reporting the following:

"Wrestling legend Kurt Angle was arrested early this morning on charges of driving under the influence ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... Angle's car was spotted by another driver ... swerving between lanes on I-66. Angle was busted by Virginia State Troopers, who responded to the call, and taken to Warren County Jail.

He posted $2,000 bond and was released at 3:31 AM."
WrestleZone has learned exclusively that a number of TNA executives are "very concerned" regarding the arrest this weekend of the company's World Champion, Kurt Angle.

"This is the second time Kurt has been arrested for DUI while the TNA Champion," a company exec told WrestleZone this evening, "and after letting of Matt Hardy, we need to be consistent in our policies towards talent!"

We've been told the company also feels vulnerable to the media on this arrest because they recently brought back Jeff Hardy, who did not go to company-suggested rehab, and the fact TMZ picked up the story so quickly. "There's a definite spotlight on this arrest," the company exec told WrestleZone, "and the Carters have to be aware of how that plays to the business community and even to Spike TV and our global television network!"

More as this developing story continues to break.

    He should be let go.

It would send a message to all the talent that nobody is too big to be punished.

Would also lighten their wage bill considerably.

forget about the employees of talent, think of the message he's sending to teenagers.

Hope Kurt can get his life back on track he's still easily one of the best wrestlers in the world(despite being in the worst run company). My brother said he got a great match out of Sting on impact.

He should be let go and nobody should re-hire him until he gets himself straight - for his own good. The guy has been a mess for years but somehow seems to be able to produce top quality matches despite this, which is the reason TNA hired him in the 1st place and have kept him on while being in this state. It seems to me that TNA are basically enablers for him - to allow him to live like this without it being seriously questioned.

Yea he TNA need to take a stand with him . It just doesnt look well on TNA when you think of what happened with Jeff/Matt and now Kurt (again).

As much as many people would ike to see TNA take a stand with Kurt it simply is not going to happen, atleast not to the extent of firing him anyway. He offers them too much and despite their actions with Matt recently they still have Jeff on the roster who like Kurt can make them money but is not as big a star (at the very least imo) and again imo is a bigger fcuk up.

    KURT ANGLE
    I Was NOT Drunk

Kurt Angle apparently believes he's been FRAMED in connection with his drunk driving arrest Sunday morning ... this according to sources connected with the famous wrestler.

As TMZ first reported, Angle was popped in Virginia after he was allegedly seen driving erratically on I-66.

But Angle's lawyer tells TMZ ... his client passed a breathalyzer test. The lawyer tells us, "We understand Kurt will be entering a plea of not guilty in response to any infractions and/or offenses."

Sources connected with Kurt tell TMZ ... cops are just trying to make an example of him.

The cops are mum, saying the case will be tried in court.

FYI ... someone who is not legally drunk (i.e., someone who passes a breathalyzer test) can still be arrested for driving under the influence if drugs or alcohol -- even minimal amounts -- impair the driver's ability to navigate the road.

Very scary, all the recent DUI's involving wrestlers.

He looks like a cross between Nathan Jones and Jason Statham there.

If they fire him he won't bother looking elsewhere, he'll just focus on his olympic plans however fruitless they may be.
