Warning light on Audi a4?

    2001 Audi a4

    This morning yellow warning light came on. Looked it up, electronic stabilization programme?

    Made another journey since and it didn't come on. Anything to worry about?

    Probably not.

    Passat used to throw this up now and again. If it stays off after the engine off then your fine.

    If it does show up though be aware that your ESP is off.

    I get that randomly during the winter months. From other forums it seems to be the "brake pedal switch" setting it off. The switch still works but just like you the esp turns off until i restart the engine.

    Its a simple replacement and very cheap.
