Seen the following 24port gigabit unmanaged switch on Dabs.ie for €98. 50 less than the 16 port netgear. Anyone used one of these TP-Links. Thoughts? It'll be used on a home network. 4 or 5 PC's in the house, 2 or 3 consoles, 6 XBMC clients etc. Lots of streaming, downloading, torrenting, gaming. Area getting upgraded by UPC soon so will be leaving behind 17Mb DSL and have 100Mb/10Mb broadband in a few months. Thus ditching Eircom altogether and going VOIP and even Video Skype becomes an option. DO I need managed for QOS?

I cant fault TP-Link at all - they are a much larger company than Netgear and their wireless equipment is rock solid & cheap.

The switch is fine. It would only be on the gateway router to the internet you'd need QOS.
