    anyone?

Somebody feel free to correct me but I can't see why you would need a new cylinder at all. It's just a longer barrel.

I've heard that if you are using a longer barrel you will need a different cylinder

OK I will :D BUT on a temparary basis as I may also be wrong :D anyway...

The longer the barrel the more compression is needed

The shorter the barrel the less compression is needed :)

anyway short answer yes you may have to change the cylender to compansate for the longer barrel and it wont be use-able with the shorter
barrel as it may shoot above the limit (depending on how close it is to 1jwhen you install the longer kit) :)

I should have emphasised the NEED part.
The aeg will still work and be effective with the longer barrel, but will of course drop a little power.

Fit the new barrel nd test it. Then see how much of a drop you end up with. You might find its perfectly acceptable.
