Does anybody know where I would start to look for accurate soccer statistics?

Specifically I want to know just how frequently a goal is scored in injury time at the end of a game? (for in-play betting purposes)

Its nothing fancy. Just for fun I have put £10 on Betfair, intending to bet on a result, then use those winnings on another bet, and so on until it either builds to a few hundred or back to zero.

Using the in-play feature on Betfair, I see you can still bet on the correct score even into injury time. Typically you only get odds of around 1.19, but with my cumulative betting strategy this isn't so important. The total is still increasing everytime.

So when a game enters injury time, I bet the lot on whatever the score is currently. Which leads to the question, how often is there a goal scored in injury time? A goal which obviously destroys my bet.

I know there will be no definite stats on this, but I wonder if there are stats for even a range of games, such as a premier league season or something?

sounds dangerous,i dont know how often there re scres in injury-time but in 85-90 mins(including injury-time) there is a goal about 5.5% of the time or so im told,i think you would find that its more prevelant with the top teams so your strategy might be better in games between mid-lower table teams who are level going into IT(these teams will accept the 1 point where the top teams will still want 3)this is not based on any research so maybe you need to look into it more.
how do you feel about laying? a strategy i have been looking at doing for this season.keep a record of goals scored in 75-90 timeframe.you can lay the current correct score at about 2.00 around this time and some teams will have goals scored in 60% plus of games in last 15 mins so would be value to be got.just throwing things out there and apologise if im hijacking your thread by going off-topic

Happens often enough that you will bust before you get anywhere near 5x your starting bank. Dont waste your time.

One guy is doing quite well betting with opposite strategy - trying to find teams which are proned to score after 86th minute and backing them when odds for "next goal scored - yes" are over 3.25. Worth checking out - http://mboard.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2486088531/m/4427008806

    all available with SST
you will prob need to do them home and away cs drawing ht/win ft at home is X1 but away from home its X2 so you will need to do a little work
having a quick look at prem, blackburn were level at HT 9 times last season away from home but only1 ended up a draw

your not going to find that stat somewhere where someone has done the work for you.

It will take you a while to do a lot of games but thats true for any profitable system.

I won a couple of times last season on Man United when they were losing at half time i nipped down to the bookies and took them at nice enough odds to come back and win, i think they were losing 2-0 to Blackpool if i recall correctly and came back and won 3-2, cant remember the other games off the top of my head but they do seem a good team to come back and win when beaten (obviously not always)
