    dont drink every day or even every week much rather saver it for a time like being in a pub... not really a 5 can of dutch on a friday night kinda bloke

    Same here. Maybe 1 or 2 times a month, even then, it's rarely a skinful.

    I wouldn't be much of a drinker myself. Might have have a beer the odd weekend. Maybe just 3 or 4 in a night. Would probably go to the pub on thursday night. Maybe saturday as well. Then come back from the local & have six or seven cans till about 5 in the morning. But only thursdays, fridays, satudays & sundays never during the week unless theres a match on. So its just a few pints in the pub 4 days a week followed by 9 or 10 cans & maybe a slurp of vodka. I have a few bottles lying around the office as well.

    Nah not into the booze me.

    Seriously though, I'm not either really - a very, very occasional drinker but still, not a non-drinker. The above attitude pisses me off anyway though.

    It's a while since I looked at the stats, but from memory about 30% of adults in Ireland identify themselves as non-drinkers.

    I am trying to stop drinking. I never drank till i was 44 that was 2005 drank nearly every day sinc wish i could stop

    Well obviously I was exaggerating there to highlight my point but I disagree with you saying it's untrue because I don't think Ireland's notorious reputation with alcohol fell out of the sky

    I rarely drink at all.

    I work long hours and am either working or on call on the weekends but even if I didn't I'm not much of a drinker anyway.
