Set Top Box Remote Sensor Location

    Hi,

    I am having trouble with my UPC HD Digital Set Top Box, just the basic model, i.e. not +. The problem is that the remote control does not work continuously.

    I have read causes & solutions on other threads, i.e. TV too near box, LCD TV & Backlight, and using masking tape over the RC Sensor on the box.

    Can anyone tell me where the RC sensor is on the set top box? It is a Pace Box btw.

    I had remote problems previously which turned out to be the batteries. I was surprised though as I'd expected the batteries to last quite a while.

    I changed the batteries, but this had no effect.
