    Probably a silly question, but is the college gym open before college officially starts back?

    The gym is open right through the Summer months, as is the library.

    Dont mean to raid your thread here although, I was wondering if someone could tell me what the Gym at LYIT is like? good equipment? opening days and hours? also, I assume it is free to make use of for those studying at LYIT?

    was there today for an induction. it seems very good! well kitted out (for my needs anyways), and the instructor was lovely!!

    its open till 5.30 for this week, once college starts back it'll be open later

    Thanks for that! I will definitely go check it out next week when my course starts! Been just before the leaving cert now since I was last working out. I have been postponing its return for too long now! It will definitely be needed to counter the calorie intake from drinking ha!

    Yeah its free for students.

    Hi lila44,
    Where is the gym located on campus ? Me and a mate were going to go down to the other gym (Didn't know the LYIT one was open) but would like to check out the college one first.

    it's upstairs in the An Danlann building! just ask someone at the reception and they'll help u out!
