    Is it just me or is 7.5 cartridges a bit light for crows unless u are up real close?

    i found i used to lead them too much !;) cause i was shooting pidgeons they were alot quicker i was way ahead of the slower crow! :p

    Depends on the performance of the cartridge in question... Some cartridges have slow burning propellants , others have faster burning and therefore pack more punch. An example: Eley Olympic Trap cartridges in 7.5 are not worth a ****e for crows , Yet Eley First in 7.5 pack more punch and therefore are ideal for crows, even though both are firing 28gram loads , The Olympic Trap cartridge burns slower. so really it just depends on the quality of the cartridge

    well myself i always use 7.5 on crow and pigeons but tight chokes i use example number 1 or even a extra full as well

    7.5 28g is great for clays but when it comes to larger birds its 32 g 6's for me or tighten the choke with the 7.5's.
