    Hey guys,
just wondering is there any way of getting into a masters programe if you have not completed a basic degree first on the basis of a related career?

AFAIK, no. Most masters have a minimum educational requirement - for example, 2.2 Honors Degree in a related subject - and often, what personal experience you have (ie. out in the workplace) doesn't play a part in getting in (although, it may give you an advantage if combined with a good education record).

Yes you can. I am currently looking to do this ... I have over twenty years experience in the TV and Film industry and have had several conversations with the heads of a number of colleges in Ireland and UK. You may still have to sit an aptitude test or exam however.

Yes it is possible to get into a MA without an undergrad degree. As Fatboydim says it comes down to your experience and any other related education you have in the subject area.
