    I have a Desire running cyanogenmod 7.
I use Dialer one to make calls

Everytime i move the phone from my ear during a phone call - it vibrates 2x. Its the most annoying thing in the world

I have disabled haptic feedback, vibrate during call, everything related to vibrating that i can find, but it still does it

Any help before i thrash my phone with a hammer!
    Thanks!

Also recently the phone has started to vibrate 2x every time it loses/gains signal. Which is quiet a lot - and very annoying
Anyone know how to stop this
    Very very infuriating
A google search isnt very productive as its hard to word the issue...
    Thanks

    Anyone?
    This is incredibly frustrating!!
I've tried chaning dialer and all vibrate settings and the only thing that works is to switch off the ringtone. Thats the only thing that stops this constant in-call vibration as soon as i move the handset!!

    ITS SOOOOO SOOOO ANNOYING lol!!

Settings > Call Settings, then untick vibrate on answer and vibrate on call end.

Can you go to Sound Settings and change Vibrate to only when in silent mode?

Or in Sound Settings also disable the Haptic feedback, see if that helps?

Might sound a bit extreme but did you try a reflash.

I can do that Donal - but i want my Desire to vibrate on calls/texts received and not make a tone...
    This is very annoying lol
Thanks all for your help though...

Its just the double vibrate whenever i move the handset during a call.... :(

Just try turning off Haptic Feedback and leave the vibrate set to Only when not in Silent Mode see if that helps, i have mine set this way and dont seem to have your problem, so maybe thats the solution.

I had this problem but it sorted itself out after going to

Settings > Call Settings & removing all the vibrate options from there.

    Which dialer are you using?
