Paint mix for colour Ennis 6.

Before moving abroad we rented a house which had an off white colour scheme on both the walls and the skirtings, doors and architraves.

I know that the colour on the walls was called Ennis 6.

As we are going to build here soon and would like to use the same colour combination in our new home.

I was hoping that some kind soul who is in the paint trade could give me the mixing details for the tints for this colour so that I could go to a paint retailer here and have it mixed.

The paint colour for the woodwork was the exact same shade, but obviously in a wood paint rather than an emulsion. I haven't a clue what the name of that shade was but likewise, can someone could put me on the right track to mix that also?

    Thanks in advance.

    PM me if necessary.

Was this in Ireland? Can only think of dulux having a listing system like that a good few years back where their colours were named after Irish towns. I don't have any of those swatches, but might be in the paint shop tomorrow and will see if it's still on their system.
Might be able to get a RAL or NCC match for it, if it is.

Thanks Wertz, yes I ordered it 2009 from a paint shop in Kinnegad! They had it in their computer system at that time at least.

I didn't have any swatches I just got the name of the shade from the Painter who was still working in the same estate at the time so that I could get a litre of it to touch up some marks on the walls when we were moving out of the house.

Yeah this is a dulux colour...where are you moving to do-more? Do they have a dulux or ICI tinting service there? If so I can give you the chroma code, but if not I know the dye proportions...the only problem being that different manafacturers use different dye formulas and tinting agents so the tone may not be exact. In some cases it may not even be close. There is no RAL/NCS code for this tone.

    Thanks a mill, Wertz.

I'm in Sweden, not sure what system they use here but Dulux is an Akzo Nobel brand and whilst they don't operate here with the Dulux brand they do operate here with some different brand names so I might be able to get it mixed, otherwise it will be back to colour cards and tester pots!

If you could PM me whatever info you have I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks again.

    PMed

Akzo Nobel is Swedish so you should have some luck.
