to be honest its best to ring the day you go down to see if they are open.
ive gone down on a sunday after ringing to ask if they were open the day before(saturday) i was told yes yes we are open.
    next they they werent open.
has happened twice to me so far so ring the same day you decide to drop down

Yeah, they're gone. I walked up there on Friday (2 bloody miles from my house) and the place had been cleared out. I met one of the employees up there and he told me they had shut down. He had shown up for work that morning to find the shop empty.
The boss had come in and cleared everything out overnight and brought it to the shop in Bray. Really annoying because I had a big wad of money in my pocket and the urge to spend it.
The closest airsoft shop now is SEAirsoft in New Ross and that's and that's an even longer walk :D

sharpie had the shop set up in malahide during the salute show last weekend.
thats probably why it was empty.

Not surprised to see news of shops re arranging themselves with the current climate but at least you can take comfort in the fact that it allows the remaining shops to expand and get the customers from those other shops and thus strengthen their business.
Considering Airsoft in Ireland is still fairly recent I'd say we'll see a few more re arrangements in the future as some shops become more established and new shops startup and try to fill the niches.

Thats true alright Alan they still do exist but the fact is that they are in Bray now and not Wexford where i dropped off the to them now i may be wrong but i cant see them sending on the gun to me after its being fixed without getting stung for a postal charge which aint on to be honest as i"ve said i might be wrong we will give the man a chance but someone who closes his buisness without telling his staff about it dont rate too highly in my book how bout you..... big wheel turns once more dealing with someone else about the whole thing so back to square one........any way nothing confirmed yet we will see tomorrow.........:D:D:D

The wexford shop has indeed closed its doors, the business just wasn't there to justify keeping it open, we have decided to concentrate on and expand the bray store. I would like to thank all of our wexford customers for their business over the last two years and hope to see some of you in the improved bray store.

no hardship at all, i'll see what the status of the repair is tomorrow and come back to you and dont worry the gun will be sent back down with no postage charge.
