Backing Up Music

Been looking for software to do this on the internet but couldn't find a solution.

Basically I backed up my music onto my external hard drive a few months ago but the collection has grown alot since then. I was wondering if there was any free software out there that would compare the two folders and then backup only the folders that don't exist on the hard drive?

Would save me hours of going through all the folders and checking the hard drive to see if they are already there!

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

SyncToy sounds like it'll do the job. As long as the filenames and directories are the same (eg you're backing up from C:/Music/New/Filename.mp3 to F:/Backup/Music/New/Filenane.mp3 with Music being the two folders you choose to sync), i think it'll work. Haven't used it in ages so can't rightly remember.
i think it's the setting Contribute you'll need to use (new files are copied from computer -> external. no deletions). Use the Preview button to see if that'll work first. You can then run the sync if everything's in order
maybe someone else has a better solution.
