    It's all here http://www.studentfinance.ie/downloads/Guidance%20Notes.pdf

Birthcert proves citizenship, and proof of sitting JC and LC will prove residency.

So then use one of the other examples listed in the link I posted. Have you resided in Ireland or the EEA for the last 3 years if you have then you should be able to provide proof, if you have not you are not entitled to free fees or grant, unless you have had asylum claim accepted or a positive decision under section 3 of the immigration act.

Are you a mature entrant, if so then you will have proof of residence in the form of social welfare or tax payments. If you are not a mature entrant then proof that you attended school. How many years ago did you do JC what have you been doing since.

First of all well done for going back after a break, it's hard to do but will be worth it. I personally never liked school much, did ok leaving, but went to college at 25 as mature student, and loved it, got a good degree and now working in chosen career.

In your case send proof you have JC proof of being in school till 2008, and if you lived at home proof of that. If you left school in 2008 I assume you must have been close to 18 did you work or sign on after that. That would prove it. But in reality don't really worry about it send what you have if they want more they will ask.

Get a letter from you school saying you attended from x date to x date.

My daughter couldn't find her JC so we sent that instead. If you were working or on some type of SW payment you could send evidemce of that either.
