hi all, ive just up graded to a digital plus box in the living room and have kept my old box so i can multi view in another room, problem is that while the new box works perfect, when i plugged in my old box into the other room,it just came up on the screen, "we are finalising the digital channels, you will be able to watch your digital channels very soon" not word for word but thats the jist of it...
that was fine but it has been like that for 45 mins and nothing is happening, ive tried calling the supplier but i hung up after 11 mins waiting,!!!!!!1
anyone know what im doing wrong..

also, the old box did work in the other room before i installed my new digital plus box in the living room.,so when i hooked up the new box all of a sudden my old box wouldnt work .will try and call them again on monday, but just in case anyone can sort me out before then, i thought i would throw it up here to where the expects are, cheers

Did you tell them you wanted multi room ? They may have cancelled the original box

You said that the old box worked up to the point where you switched on the new box, that means that as far as UPC is concerned you are only paying for one box so as soon as you enabled the new box they disabled the old one.

You need to subscribe to multiroom in order to get the old box enabled as a multiroom box.

Yep that's correct. With multi room you'll receive the same channels on the extra box as you already receive on the main box.

If one is a hd box you'll have a few extras
