Health insurance bill..

Right so, got a bill for health insurance.. I pay in instalments...
On what they sent me out, it outlines how much I pay by direct debit.. and then it says the total at the bottom.

Right so, I assumed that they would have gotten their calculations right.. and obviously didn't bother working out the total from the amount I pay each month, since It was given to me..

Turns out, they got their calculations wrong.. and have me paying them less then I owe.

On the bill, it specifically says how much I have to pay per month.. although at the end, it does have the total (that my instalments don't add up to)

They are now demanding the extra €350.. do I have a leg to stand on?

    Thanks for any replies!

hi i work in health insurance and mistakes can happen for instance a colleague of mine sent out a quote with last years dd amounts by mistake, i know that the company had to honor this, but if the total amount is stated on the renewal notice im afraid that you will probably have to foot the bill, but as a gesture of goodwill they should write off half of this for you, but if your insured with vhi forget about it
