Rundll32.exe running but nothing happening

    Hi,

    This problem seems to be a bit random. It happens whenever i double click to load up certain games, but nothing happens ie the game doesn't load. Checked the task manager and there's a process "rundll32.exe*32" running along with the game. When i end this process the game process ends as well.
    If i run the game while the rundll32.exe*32 is running, it loads okay, and i end the other process. But if i just leave it, the game loads eventually a few minutes later (varies from game to game)

    Any idea what's causing this? No viruses or anything like that on my laptop afaik (ran scans with MSE, MBAM and superantispyware but nada). It's been happening for months but tbh i never noticed it as i just ran the game twice and left it at that. not really a problem, but more an annoyance

    Running windows 7 pro x64 btw
