I have been offered a training contract for one of the big firms in their Audit practice, but it isn't specified as to which part of the Audit department it will be in.

It appears we will be able to choose closer to the time of starting our training contract, but there isn't a guarantee you will get the area you want. I would prefer to work in the industry part rather than in financial services.

Has anyone any experience of this and how flexible are firms with leaving people work in the area of their preference within Audit??
