fn 2000 sling

    have recently got my hands on a fn2000 and need a sling for it and as they dont take a standard one and the specific one for it cost around 60 to 70e and there isint a hope of me paying that i have heard most people have juryrigged a sling and am looking for advice on how to make one

    maybe drop ger (leftyflip) a pm he has one he made a sling for, he could also answer your battery questions.

    You can cannibalise a 3 point sling to do it, just use common sense.

    A much nicer sling is the Urban ERT RS sling, but it's spendy.

    Or you can simply add a fabric sling loop into either the left or right sling loop point on the rear of the receiver and connect that to a single point sling - which is what I do as a solution to trying to jerry rig a SA80 sling.

    Said fabric sling looks are usually supplied with three point slings to reduce the metal on metal noise that you'd have otherwise with metal clip meeting metal loop on aeg.
