    Folks
My 99 mazda 323 has been for its NCT and it has come back with holes poked in it (literally). I'm wondering what is the best remedy for this. The car is fine apart from that, it just needs the brakes done. However there is corrosion in front of both rear sills as you can see in the pic below. This car is just a run around, but obviously has to be made road safe if that is economical, to a standard that will allow it to pass its retest. The metal is corroded right through as you may be able to see

Same happened mine. Mechanic sent it off to another guy who only does welding. Cut out the rust and bit around it, welded in new section and sprayed it with some or other black stuff. Passed test no problem.
