Does your local tax office deal with VAT registration?

    Hi,

    I am under major pressure to get vat registered asap. So i do not want to send the application to the wrong office. Is it a particular office that deals with this or just your local one?
    Any idea if it is possible to fast track the process ?
    How long does it normally take?

    Your local office. I've no idea how long it takes, but Revenue's customer service standards say that VAT registrations will be processed within a maximum of two weeks. I guess you'll have to call them to ask if they can prioritise your registration.

    Thanks. got a letter back today. only took 4 or 5 days when i asked them to prioritise it !:D
