    Hi,
    I'm just looking for a good garage with good prices, I bought classic MINI 2 weeks ago and need it to be prepared for NCT. Any recommendations?

    I prefer Sasha Auto in Galway on Tuam Road. I never had any problems with service and I know they preparing cars for NCT also. Check they website www.sashaauto.ie

    Pre NCT checks are a waste of money and nothing but guess work imo and no guarantee it will pass. Just send it through and then get fixed what it fails on.

    Good advice.

    When/if it fails Galway Car Service Centre across from the NCT centre in Doughiska I found to be very helpful, honest and the sort of folk I'd recommend, 'tis 18 months since I lived in Galway but I presume they are still open. 091 761744.

    You can check A&T Motors, 0851920603, it's a bit outside of Galway on the way to Moycullen but it's worth the way there. I'm going to them since a year and never was disappointed, prices are quite good and personel nice. When I had to leave my car there one of the lads brought me home so I didn't have to take taxi :)

    Cheers, MINI already failed NCT, need new master cylinder and has some rust at the back. The motor garage at Doughiska didn't answer so just called A&T, hope it won't be too expensive I'm going there tomorrow first thing in the morning, not sure if I'll find it tho.

    Garage on Nuns Island. They have been there for years. Their honest, reliable, competitive and will do the job 100%
