I want to send a terrerstrial signal up to the attic and then the signal from the aerial and a multiswitch (satellite) down to the sitting room all in the one cable. Is this possible?

Depends on the exact frequencies but probably not.
    see http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/combiners.htm

I would be happy with a normal setup but I want to watch my DM800HD (SKY) in other rooms. without more cables.

At the moment I have an rf modulator sending the signal from the DM800 up to the distribution splitter (on this 1 available drop cable). I can watch sky in any room then.

But I now want a multi sat setup and route the cables into the attic but still keep my current modulator setup.

shotgun cable seems the only route.
