Errors when pasting from Word to the Boards message input box

When you type text on MS Word and then paste it into the message entry box, the Boards editor applies new fonts, font sizes, and colours to the text. This is a big problem especially for users who use the black Boards.ie skin (see here). Any chance of a fix?

There are four potential solutions to this:

1. Disable the rich text editor.
   
   Not sensible, lots of people use it. No matter how many technical issues it causes us (data URLs, FUUUUU!) we can't realistically get rid of this.
   
   
2. Strip all colour tags.
   
   Possible, but will probably inconvenience more people than are affected by black text on black backgrounds.
   
   
3. Remove the black skins.
   
   This will happen eventually. (18-36 months)
   
   
4. Hack the BBCode parser to remap colours.
   
   This would not be easy to do. Spending development time on an issue that occasionally inconveniences approximately 1% of our audience wouldn't make sense when there are outstanding issues like the stability and performance of the site which frequently affect 100% of the users.

Nooo! I really like the cloud skin. Since starting to use it here, it is the same colour I use with other things that allow it (gmail). It is easier on the eyes.

Actually, it's great for certain visually impaired folks too - I'd love to see a workable solution to keeping *some* of the custom themes, even if it's just the default theme with some minor CSS modifications to inverse the colours.
