Turnigy Accucell 6?

Hey,
Ive been using this charger for quite awhile now but dont know what the Man & Aut settings do and what the difference is for nimh and nicd charging. Can anyone tell me and whats better? Thanks for any advice!

i think auto is delta peak cut off, and manual is where you input the mah of the battery for when your doing a cycle, i.e. discharge and charge cycle.
i could stand corrected??

Thanks! Not an electrical expert so i have no clue really. I usually just charge at whatever my mah rating is. If its 1400mah i charge at 1.4 and so on. I was just curious if auto or man was better!
