    The ink sketch and private purchasae cap tally from Admiral Scheer was signed by her Captain Marschall , later Admiral Marschall. This was awarded to a rating for an efficiency prize.

    Do you know why the ship is flying 2 RKF's instead of just one. Should the one at the back not be a Jack?

    She appears to be under way at slow speed , this might explain the jack being lowered.

    Just to note the ship in BlackEdelweiss's last quoted post is the Gneisenau.

    Absolutely right Preusse, my error as a result to cutting and pasting, she got mixed up with a series of Scheer images.
    The easy way to tell she and Scharnhorst apart being the position of the main mast.
