My mates clio is f#*ked to put it lightly, it keeps losing power and jerking like mad it doesn't fully cut out but you couldn't rely on it. Anyways picture of the effected parts

That white wire leading down to a black connector, what is it? The black connection snapped off while driving seems to be the main cause of the problems..

The circled wires, what is it... seems to effect the power of the engine when fiddled with, when its tight the engine runs fine but after some speed bumps it comes loose and the car starts to lose power and jerk.

    Anyone

The main part shown in the pictures is called an "engine". It is normally installed in a device called a "car" which seems to be missing from the pictures. If you have removed the engine from the car just to trace a wire it shows an uncommon determination to find the fault. Such determination is rare nowadays. Judging by its location, that white wire would seem to be part of the ignition system. This is very important and needs to be in perfect condition in the modern engine because it is required to produce very high voltages for the spark plugs. You have probably diagnosed the problem yourself and you may need to buy a new part to overcome the tendency of the wire to work loose. It would also be advisable to put the engine back into the car as it is liable to get wet lying around on the ground in this weather.
Seriously, somebody has enough ability to remove an engine yet is baffled by a wire, I can't help wonder what's going on?
