Its the road out towards Hewlett Packard from the Ryevale end of the town. What the hell, theres a speed limit of 50 on the road and its just a few hundred yards from the copshop. Cant they just get someone out with a hairdryer once in a while and raise the awareness of the limit if theres a problem.

Heres what pi$$es me off about it, I've just put new shocks and springs on my car and so when I come to a ramp, I slow right down, roll over the ramp and then accelerate, but thats a serious waste of everything when you are doin it twice a day over each ramp (5 in all) every workday, fuel, brakes. Then I have gombeens in cars/vans/jeeps which they dont own and they are right up my rear end tryin to let me know they hate my guts.

AAAAAARRRGGGG I pay my road tax for this ****e....

The ones outside Oaklawn and Cedar Park? They've been there for ages. There was some maintenance work done on them this week cos of damage done last year in the snow & frost, but the humps themselves are there for at least as long as I've been living at this end of the town

No not those ones at the school, theres a load of new ones goin in as of today all the way along past the Maxol station.

I wouldnt mind I've always made the choice NOT to take shortcuts through the estate (Castletown?) that would bring you over towards the Lady Louisa train station, but now thats goin to be more attractive.

Recently a few new ones popped up in my locale...what pisses me off most about new speed bumps is the sharp angle they impose on the car at any speed over 20kmph...I mean the damn limit is 50...going over them at much more than 30 is going to pop something on your springs.
Comapre those to the luxury speed bumps I've noticed around south Dublin (sandymount from memory) where you can actually go over them at 50 and whilst getting a jolt, at least they're rounded, not feckin' triangular

Another point the locals are gonna have to deal with is the sound of the loud exhausts from the baad twincam lads as they pull away from each ramp, that would do my head in no end if I was trying to get to sleep

Seems to be a leixlip thing, I remember when they put in the green lane ones, they had no signs or even markings on the ramps for ages. I got a hell of a shock when I 'discovered' them on a dark wet night.
