Steam Sale: Stimulus or Resurgence?

Hey all,

I just noticed that steam are having a COD sale at the moment and I am thinking of buying one of the expansion packs for MW2. Is either one better than the other? I have seen a lot of people recommending Resurgence, primarily for Carnival but a few say that overall Stimulus is better.

If you had a choice which would you recommend or are they even worth buying?

Stimulus - Bailout, Crash and Overgrown. The latter two are COD4 maps.

Resurgence - Trailer Park, Vacant and Strike. The latter two are COD4 maps.



IMO the 6 maps I mentioned above above are really good. The other maps in both maps are fairly poor I believe anyway. Resurgence bad maps are slightly better than Stimulus bad maps. But it's touch and go really. I'd go for Resurgence if I were you. Recommend Youtube searching the map packs and then you'll be able to form a better opinion before purchasing one of them.

I prefer stimulus, bailout is in that one and its my fave mw2 map! storm and salvage are fun aslwell. Crash is good, overgrown is ok aswell need a thermal sniper for that omne thugh!
It might just be me but the resurgence maps get voted out quite a bit, fuel is very rare these days, games are really slow paced there and as such voted, tis a love/hate map for me. Carnival woeful me thinks, vacant and trailer park are really linear and are noob tube central, get a spas streak going on em tho and tis fun Strike is really good tho..

if you could get one pack with Crash, Overgrown, Strike and Vacant on it it'd be great, the new new maps are meh for the most part,Trailer Park and Bailout are great demolition maps though.
