Wow, seriously cheap ski gear there.

    Do Dare2B make good stuff?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,278 ✭✭✭banchang

Yes GBP15 shipping is high, but with some of these reductions (3 items @ GBP50 reduced to GBP15) I picked up a few things & all in its quite a bargain, as shipping appears to be a reasonably flat fee (I haven't tested this at the upper limits !).

Yes Dare2B do make good quality gear - if its snow gear you're buying read the spec to ensure you are getting what you want.

Cheers. Damn Bargain Alerts, I have my ski gear already but it's so cheap it's hard to ignore. Cheers OP.

I left the delivery option as standard delivery (thats how it was when I placed my order.

    Order Subtotal £61.99
    Delivery £3.95
Amount You Pay inc VAT £65.94

Lets see if it gets delivered just the same.

Has anyone any idea how the fit is for the Sized S and Sized M Womens jackets are (the Throwdown one I'm looking at) - Am usually a size 8 or small 10 but like to buy winter jackets so I can fit a jumper inside - not sure whether to go for the S or Size M:confused:

Mine didn't. Is 21 days from the order date tomorrow, they said they would log it as a lost package in the morning if I don't have it by then.

    I suspect this is coincidence.

I have also not received my second order of gear from them.

I did pay full price for the shipping though.

My friend is in the same situation.

They say they need to wait 21 working days before logging as a lost parcel. This is tomorrow for me. I received a dispatch notice on 5th September.

To be fair they answered the phone right away and were nice enough.

My dispatch notice was the 4th Sept, still no sign. They said to contact them on the 3rd, thanks for the reminder.

My order also never arrived. Seems like a lot of people experiencing the same on the delivery front.

Did anyone elses arrive in the last day or so? I'll cancel the order today if not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,736 ✭✭✭ch750536

Have just cancelled the order, apparently they then send me an email which I have to print & return, then I get the refund.

As a matter of interest did you mention that you had heard of a lot of people not getting their orders?

It would be interesting to hear their response to that.

I did consider mentioning it but decided not to confuse the issue.

Same for me. 2 of 2 arrived yesterday.

2 seperate orders arrived yesterday - 7 odd weeks after the order!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 634 ✭✭✭IrishPhoenix

I had 2 orders which never turned up. I won't be ordering from them again. The sale isn't such a good deal when the items never turn up!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 725 ✭✭✭djfattony2000

Both my items turned up this week.

Very happy with the items. Customer service not so much.

Stramge you guys had such issues. I ordered a ski Jacket off them and two pairs of ski trousers back in September when this topic started and I got them in two seperate deliveries two days apart about a week later.

Couldn't fault them (the items of the service). Although I did pay the £15 shipping fee. Did the people having issues try and do the UK postage of £6 something or whatever it was?

Got my order today, 7 weeks after dispatch. Good quality products. Emailed them to let them know they arrived and they wanted to charge me again although I never got a refund. Customer service leaves alot to be desired.
