    I was looking for someway to block calls and texts from a chosen number I downloaded 2 from the market,droid blocker and gang filter both are sh1te and dont work neither the call blocker or the text blocker., can anyone help??

    Your thread heading could be a bit more descriptive.

    How about this for blocking calls

    Call Filter - It bounces the call to your voicemail. The number still does appear in your missed calls list though.

    Go SMS Pro also allows you to block numbers that can SMS you.

    Do you need an app for this, I've never needed to do this (Thank God) but can you not blacklist them

    Add as a contact, then in the contact press menu > more > add to blacklist

    As I say haven't used it before and I do have a different phone, but have stock samsung contacts and dialer.

    Just going to try it to block someone who rang me last year to try and cover me to Islam, with the promise of beautiful women to make my wife! (But I suspect he won't try calling me again anyway!)

    I had an old samsung where there was a thing in the call setting to block people but not on the mini,I have turned off my voice mail and I will try the call filter,its just a temporary thing I need to do as Im off work for 2 weeks and dont want to be pestered but need tp leave my phone on.
    I did ring vodafone,no joy
