    what happened it, just as a matter of interest.

    Mine went haywire recently, but I just restarted it (through help from their facebook page) and its fine now....

    the power comes on when start button is pressed but goes off again when start button is released

    I'm sure you know this, but you have to hold the button for about 20 sec's etc before it boots up

    problem sorted with help from golf buddy.eu had to do a re-boot which deletes saved info and reverts to factory settings
