Adblock Problems On Firefox

Hey all, not sure if this is in the right section. If not, could a mod please move it accordingly?

I recently downloaded adblock plus as an add on from firefox. Great service but I recently made a stupid error and I don't know how to rectify it. I was watching a youtube video, and a wee pop up appeared above the video saying 'block'. I clicked on it, presuming that it would block any potential ads on youtube videos. But in actual fact, it blocked the youtube flashplayer altogether.

I somewhat fixed this by turning adblock off when on youtube, but whenever Im on an external website such as facebook etc., any youtube video just appears as a blank space on the screen. I have tried uninstalling and installing firefox again but it appears to keep the settings of the adblock.

I want to keep adblock as I find it handy but I just want to unblock embedded youtube videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Click on the adblock plus button in the toolbar, Click preferences, under "My Blocking Rules" list unblock the youtube one (Delete it)

No worries, simple mistake to make. Also if you subscribe to the default lists ie Fanboys and Easylist you'll probably never see a flash or Java ad again :) I have those tabs on flash/java elements turned off. Makes them a bit less annoying. Just click adblock button>Options>Untick show tabs on flash and java, if you do find a flash/java applet you want to block you can always turn it on and of again
