    Hi,

Im a Mechanical Engineering grad, I worked for in semi-conductors for one year but didn't like it, now im looking to do a masters in Maynooth in Electronic Engineering in Biomedical Systems

Has anyone done this? Is it worth it or am i wasting my time?

Like any advice would be appreciated, I can't get the coarse module breakdown from the website (just a rough overview of the coarse, it sounds good) but my biggest concern is am I wasting my time? Should I just stick with my BEng and leave ireland?

    Hi,

You should contact the course head or secretary of the Eng Dept. as getting a module list is pretty important.

Without one it's hard to decide if the course is for you if you ask me.

Students select the remaining four modules from the list below:

    Optimisation Theory
    Knowledge Management & Intellectual Capital

ME Project Part Time Year One
ME Project Full Time and Part Time Year Two

Ive my masters (and undergrad) from maynooth, but I specialised in control, not biomed.

Its a good course, but I did it part time and remotly over 2 years, something I would not advise. If it is still advertised as so, and you are considering, make sure to advise the lecturer that you will be doing it remotly. Some of them didnt know until after an assignment when they updated notes online that we needed for the assignment.

The lecturers are definatly approachable, I knew most of them on a first name basis.

But at the end of the day, make sure you are happy with the course list. And makke sure that all your courses WILL be run. I missed out on the assumption that the list was final, it wasnt.
