Hey buying a van in a few weeks just wondering what the story with insurance would be. Is it cheaper to insure privately or commercial?

also which companies give the cheapest cover normally?
    thanks.

If its taxed commercially it must be insured commercially and vice versa for private.Setanta are very cheap so yer best bet is to contact a broker that deals with them.

As Otis has posted, Setanta are very competitive, but you can only access them via a broker. Quinn Direct are not bad either. You can call them and haggle a bit.;)
