Hi ive applyed for BTEA and i should get it dont see why i should not.
Ive goten a letter from the college im going to looking for 2,000 euro.

    Registration Tuition: 954.00
    Registration Fees: 2000.00
    Third Party Credit : -954.00

    Total 2000.00

I dont Know what the Third Party Credit is and I dont have 2000.00 to pay to go to college.

Will i get that payed if i get the BTEA as i was reading that you get 500 at the start of the year for books etc do i have to pay the 2000.00 my self or do i have to apply for something else ?

I think the -954 means it would be the fee charge, but you are entitled to free fees.

You can apply for the grant to have to registration fee of 2000 payed if you are eligible.

I got a similar letter yesterday with a Bank Giro attached for €2000.

I have no idea what the 'Third Party Credit' means. I can only guess that it means they are not looking for that sum now but will later?

One thing i am sure of is that the Third Party Credit part has nothing to do with your Council/VEC having paid out any money to the College already.

Don't worry about the deadlines as they are always extended. Apply anyway.
