Applied to wrong people. Ahh!

Ok so I'm supposed to be going to TCD in a few weeks and I sent off all my forms and stuff for a grant 2 weeks ago to County Dublin VEC. (I live in Balbriggan.)

Today I got a call from TCD saying that I've applied to the wrong place and I should have applied to the Local Authority (I didn't realise this when I sent off my stuff.)

What do I do? I haven't got any of my stuff back from the VEC to give it to the other people and I've missed the deadline too Hellllllp!

Ring the VEC and tell them and ask them to send it to the council. Don't worry about the deadline.

So they will actually send it to them if I ring? I have to wait til Monday now, they refuse to talk to me after 12:30 and I found out I did everything wrong at 12:35 and they said call back Monday. :rolleyes: I was worried they mightn't send it along.

Edit: Do you think it'd still cover my registration fees now I've left it so late? I've no way of paying them otherwise...

i did the same thing (different grant authority though) and they just forwarded mine to the right place email them and you might get a quicker reply than waiting for them to call

You're right, I emailed them after I posted my reply here and they replied at half 4 Someone sent it to someone else who is transferring it to the right people, hopefully! Might still call them Monday just to be sure.

download the form again and send it in yourself to the right place.....dont depend upon someone saying they will send it on.
