JobBridge internship and signing on

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if you are excused from signing on once a month if you do a JobBridge internship? I don't say any info on this on their website. I know the payment method is changed from Post Office to bank transfer but I am still wondering if you need to sign once a month.

    Any info would be great.

    AFAIK, you don't need to sign on whilst doing a Job Bridge intership. However, your employer would have to carry out monthly reports of your progress, details of which are here.

    I had my WPP converted to the Jobsbridge internship program a few weeks ago, I had to sign on by post for the WPP but I haven't had to sign on since then!

    @Funsterdelux, did it take long for the conversion to come through? My WPP host applied for it well over a month ago and we haven't even got an acknowledgement yet! @Henke, not completely sure. As @Funsterdelux said, you can sign on by post with the WPP, I would strongly suspect the JobBridge set up is the same, but not entirely sure, sorry!
