As the title says my Ex-boyfriend is moving in across the road from me. You can see into the houses from the front rooms.

I found this out by accident as my neighbour said to me she had seem him looking at the house and as it was for sale thought he might be buying it.

We broke up 18 months ago after going out for almost a year but during the last 18 months we have been in regular contact and up until April of this year had probably slept with each other every months since the breakup. He still texts reguarly and last week I had to tell him that if he wasn't interested in my romanticly then we were better off not contacting each other and he said he wanted to be only friends. Some of his texts are of a sexual nature and I have stopped replying to them. Even up till 10 days ago he said we will end up sleeping together again and I said not his time I was standing by my decision and that I had to move on.

He has since told me he is moving in as I asked him, would rather know now then when I see him moving in. Am I right be a little upset/annoyed that he is moving in as I would rather not see him bring another girl home etc. Its not the only house in the area for sale !!

Be the bigger person, be in control and when he does move in, take pleasure from the fact that you will be completely ignoring him and not giving him the attention he seems to think he is entitled to, and that he will have to put up with seeing you ignoring him and having no interest in him whatsoever.

(its a damned freaky thing of him to do).

I know I can't stop where he decides to buy but was surprised that it would be beside me.

I haven't been in contact with him after telling he we won't be sleeping together again, except to ask him was it true that he was moving in across from me.

I know just going to hold my head up high and get on with my life and hopefully it will be OK. Sure the sale hasn't closed yet so it might fall throught!!

    What a charmer

I'd go to the end of the earth to prove him wrong on that.

You can't control him moving in unfortunately but you can be strict with yourself about having no more contact whatsoever with him.

Kind of sounds like he is just chancing his arm. I doubt he'll care either way to be honest. He was having his cake for the last 18 months...I'm sure he'll be content with that and give up once it's clear to him there's nothing more to be gained. Him moving across from you is unfortunate but oh well.
