Investing in Prize Bonds

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask

But I have a limited company, with cash reserves, our investment strategy is risk neutral.

I am going splitting my cash and putting it into different fixed term deposit accounts.

But I am thinking of buying €10k of Prize bonds, just to see would we get anything out of it.

What I want to know is can a company buy Prize Bonds in its own name and for its own use? (I know some companies purchase them on behalf of their staff)

fairly sure you can buy them for your company...but if u have 10k...at least put it on deposit...get some guaranteed return for your company

the returns from pb are well below inflation

while your money may be secure (?)! it is being devalued over time

would you not consider the highest rate deposite account?

Check out what luck this chap is having with €25k of Prize Bonds. I think investing in a deposit account would give better (although small) returns. Although I suppose you could argue the amount from a deposit is so small, maybe it's worth the "opportunity lost" to take a gamble on PBs for a year...
