Hi - am looking for advice on how to arrange talking to a councellor (Munster area).
Can you just approach and ask for an appointment? I would prefer not to go through my doctor. Some nasty feelings have sufaced (which I thought Id dealt with), and I need to talk to someone. Finally realised that now is the time.
    Thank you

IACP and IAHIP are two of the counselling and psychotherapy accreditation bodies. You can check their website to find a counsellor in your area and then contact the counsellor directly, there is no need to go through a doctor. As these are private counselling practices there will be a fee.
