    Only stumbled across this app for android. Let you accurately know when the sun is due to rise, same goes for the moon. It give you an estimated time based off your current location. Might help you guys with those early morning shots.

    There is a better one called Living in the Sun which maps the moon and suns direction so you know when and where exactly they rise and set

    LightTrac is another one that shows the sun and moon's rise/set/given-time direction on a satellite map. Available for Android and iPhone/iPad. Not free, though.
