Student Deals without .edu email

Is there a way to get student deals online that require an .edu email? i thought we'd be getting on as students of nuig, but they're .ie! https://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup for example

.edu emails are usually american.

I know that companies like Dropbox offer to review new email addresses that you submit if you claim they are from educational institutions. Maybe amazon do similar.
