On behalf of a work colleague:

Could someone advise a winter tyre and size for a 2007 Nissan Almera.

I don't know what size is on it and it has no manual before people tell me to look.

I've advised getting smaller tyres than are on it and getting steel rims but I didn't know what size or brand to get.

I'd start by finding out what's on it now.;)

Go to breakers yard. Pick up 4 of the cheapest undamaged wheels off a 2000 -2007 Almera. Go to tyre centre or online tyre shop and order 4x same size winters.
