Getting online ticket

    I am travelling from Carrick-on-Shannon to Dublin tomorrow and I was trying to buy an online ticket. The only thing is I can't seem to collect the ticket at the station. Would printing out the receipt be acceptable and going to office in the morning?

    I understand it doesn't work. Can you get to a different station?

    It is one of the locations proposed for a ticket machine.

    You should be able to collect your ticket from a ticket vending machine at the station; if this isn't available then you can collect it at the booking office. Bring your bankcard and some ID as well as your booking reference number.

    Yeah. There is no ticket vending machine at the station. Ticket online is 10 euro but at the station is 28 euro.

    You cannot buy a ticket online from Carrick-on-Shannon at the moment - I know it's daft - because of the lack of a ticket vending machine in the station. They are unable to print online tickets in the booking office there.

    The only consolation is that it is virtually top of the list to get a vending machine.

    Ah man! I bought the ticket. :( Guess I'll just have to get bus now.
