Virtualbox Host Access

Lo, I'm running Win7 inside Virtualbox 4.0.4 OSE on an Ubuntu 11.04 host. I have some service ports open on the host and I would like to be able to access them from the Win7 guest running in the VM. E.g. [host-ip]:[port]

I do not want to give the Win7 guest net access via the host, just access to local ports that I've opened on the host while I test some code I'm running in the VM.

Is this possible in Virtualbox?, or do I need extra firewall rules to back me up.

    Any help appreciated :)

Have you tried using the free VMWare hypervisor instead of Virtualbox? You can boot it from USB key too.
